Lex Jimenez is a writer, filmmaker, photographer, and musician based in the New York Metropolitan area.

Drawing from a multifaceted upbringing, her work explores the complexities of identity, community, and belonging through intricately-woven, femme-centered storytelling. Through a variety of mediums & cross-genre exploration, Jimenez seeks to uplift and amplify underrepresented voices and stories through her projects.

With a comprehensive background in the visual & music arts, Lex Jimenez is a 2021 YoungArts Winner, a 2025 EVVY Award Winner, & an internationally-recognized director, screenwriter, composer, and multimedia artist. 

Jimenez is a graduate of Emerson College's School of Film & Television and has studied with Berklee College of Music.
